I am vomiting great gobs of gratitude to each and every one of you who have donated to the GoFundMe. It’s running down my chin. Gratitude is all over the floor. Thank you for your vote of confidence, your generosity, your empathy, faith that the record won’t be a piece of crap, and your trust that I won’t abscond with $16-thousand and blow it all in riotous living.
The record is done. It’s all mixed and ready to be mastered. And it’s paid for, thanks to you. With the masterful and good-people producer ERIC AMBEL and ace engineer MARIO VIELE, I was in Brooklyn for four days the week before last and we got the whole album wrapped up and tied with a bow. The only morsel of exception to that is that this coming Monday we’re going to remix one song via zoom, and that’s it. The record’s really good. I’m very happy with it. I think you’ll be pleased with it as well. Darn pleased.
So here’s where I’m at. Looking forward, I THINK I have enough to pay for the mastering, and that’ll completely clean the GoFundMe account out as far as things stand right at this moment. Right now, the artwork expense, the manufacturing and a wee dram of promo is all a big question mark.
I would be so thankful if you would forward the fundraiser link to your friends and also - if you haven’t yet, consider donating yourself, . All of them. Even that guy from 11th Grade who found you on Facebook and won’t leave you alone now. I ask for all y’all to pull together with me and spread the word so you and I can share these songs with the world.
